  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Yeah, it looks amazing.

BTW, is there anything you can do about the sprites? When they're close up, they look kind of crappy due to the aliasing.

yeah it's funny to see everything else in Mario Kart with these fantastic hi res textures and then the sprites all blurry and stuff.

That bowser looks cool. Btw, i got your pack, it works and everything but start menu text is half rendered. i went into the configure graphics but couldn't find alt texture size.
Edit* nvm, solved it =]

Just one question, is it better to play this game on 1964 emulator or project 64?

i prefer pj64 because it's been updated more often

btw i have not updated the pack with that pix yet
will do it soon

edit:

i am trying to port this pack to glide64 some textures run better
others run not as well

Those icons are all real nice. But try fixing Toad's head a little in his icon. Ex. make his head darker around the edges, if you can.

:D sure show us what you have

i could use some help getting this pack on its feet again

please try to use glide64 or muds/rice 1.6.4 as your dumping plug
i am trying to go glide64 only but rice still works

i just don't want any more issues with compatibility

this pack is hi quality lets try to keep it this way

if any one has ideas please feel free to speak up

This is awesome! I LOVE the icons, NES_player4LIFE. You've got a great knack for bringing out the character's personality instead of just having it be a small picture of them. Great work :)

I think one of the bigger things that stood out after I tried out the pack was the text. Since a lot of Mario Kart is based on times, I think it would be good to get that worked on next, if possible. Please keep working on this :D

EDIT: Is there a link combining all of the various pieces that you guys released into one pack?

I am one of the Biggest fan of Mario Kart 64 ( all parts after that just sucked :( )

Can you tell me if there are high definition Textures for the Battle-maps too ?



Can you tell me how to edit Mario Kart 64 roms ? Especially the power ups.

I would like to change the balance : Make it impossible to get an Star while battle.

Help me please

I installed the Project64

Copied the RiceVideo plugin into the Folder Plugin.

When i start P64 i cannot go settings and select RiceVideo Plugin. always get some Errors :(

Also : Where do i have to put the High Resources Files to ?

btw : Where is an howto ??
