What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

To dump textures, go the the "Texture Filters" tab, in the normal (not debug) plugin.

Then click "dump textures to files" OR "Load hi-res textures if available".

And there's zero need to be so peeved and ordering people to answer....

Texture filters tab in Graphics settings are empty, it stands, Advanced Options are not allowed to be changed...

Okey, got it so far, but when i click on dump textures nothing happens..

Something is happening. The textures are dumping in a folder called texture_dump. It should be in the emulator plugin folder. plugin>texture_dump>

The textures are dumped as they are loaded by the emulator. In other words, you have to run the game long enough to load whatever texture(s) you want while the dump textures box is checked.

Yes, I understand that. It comes up on the screen that it is dumping the textures, but when I go to look for it on the computer, I can not find it.

are you actually playing into the game?? like if you want the Logo at the beginning of a game play up to it... It sounds like you're just playing to the very beginning when it shows like no textures being dumped... play a little then close out and check.
what game are you trying?

I was doing Super Mario 64. I would ask it to dump textures while I'm outside of the castle (which is what I want to retexturize first). It would say it was dumping textures. I would close out, and then check it, and the folder is not there. Thanks for helping me so far

Well, I started doing it using the Cel-Shaded pack for the outside of Super Mario 64 as a base (that is, using the file name and format), and only edited those textures:

This is what I have so far, and I'd like to continue, but I need to have the rest of the original pack, and the dumping doesn't seem to be working on my computer
