What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I'm no graphics professional and I'm sure there are easier ways with todays more powerful programs but using only The GIMP, my mouse, and about 2.5 hours I refined this:

Into this:

Once an image is downscaled or encoded with a lossy algorithm, details are lost that can never be replaced, except by a human artist. This is a very easy image, no shading or fine details but what I did was fill in all the solid color regions with the airbrush then restroked all the lines with a 2pt path. Something like this is great practice for learning how to refine images and getting familiar with your graphics tools.

I could upscale it, the point is the hand refining of the details. You can just go ahead and scale it up 200% but then what? You have to go through and sharpen everything by hand to make it look nice.
