  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

  • As members seem to have a problem reading the release threads:

    Djipi's packs are built for the (Glide64 finale) Plugin. Nolonger supported!
    Djipi's packs are built for the (GlideN64) Plugin.
    These two Plugins are two completely different pieces of code.

    GlideN64.HTC archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on Glide64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

    Glide64.DAT archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on GlideN64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

    Djipi has never made a pack for use with Rice video and never will. any packs found in this format are not authorized!

    GlideN64 is the new standard and only requires an Radeon 6XXX.
    This is a somewhat older GPU and should be readily available.
    Do everyone a favor and upgrade!

Le travail titanesque d'un seul homme (ou presque) pendant 5 longues années arrive finalement à échéance pour le plus grand bonheur de tous.

Une excellente occasion de redécouvrir un jeu aussi légendaire que celui-ci sous un jour différent.

I'm re-uploading the pack with the forgotten textures. Expect an update in two hours at the most.

I'm not good with words, but I think we can all agree that you've done a wonderful job, and I have to thank Emarian and all the others that worked on this project too. Really, there are no words to describe how awesome it is. 5 years, that's a long time to stick to one project. Good work :)

I copied all files in THE LEGEND OF ZELDA folder and rename the previous one. Did i do something wrong or miss something? Those textures seem fine with the old pack :(.

And could anyone reupload the master quest pack, please? The one that was posted before had a ridiculous 10 download limit.

Delete all the Zelda Textures in the Plugin folder, re-download the pack and use mudlords Rice Video 6.1.4, Glide64 and older Versions off Rice Video have the same problem for me.

PS: Im Re-Uploading the master quest pack right now, I forgot to log in:unsure:

Actually, this is more likely a TMEM issue. For RiceVideo try toggling "Full TMEM emulation", for Glide64 toggle "alternative CRC calculation". This happens because the texture dumping feature in the RiceVideo plugin is affected by this setting. Read 6) Gonetz's explanation in the following hires texture guide; http://www.emuxhaven.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6741

Not to forget, props to Djipi for his fantastic texture pack. His work was one of the motivations that got me involved in the GlideHQ project.

My textures work for Master Quest. My rom name is...Zelda - Ocarina of Time - Masterquest (NGC-RIP) # N64.N64

Hm, to me this looks like the classic Rice DX9 Bug. I don't know if some of Dijpis new textures have a higher resolution than 4x the original.
If they have, using DX9 verison of the plugin will lead to these textures not getting displayed.
Try using the other version of the plugin (just select it i nthe plugins config) and tell us if they show up (shaders won'T work with this version)

Hmm, I thought support up to 256x was added to the latest Aristotle-Mudlord-RiceVideo release? Glide64 can also do more than 4x; up to infinity size if the hardware can take it.

the dx9 version still supports only 4x (as far as I know). I just thought he was using it because of the shaders.
