Are you sure about that? Textures work with the gamecube version of ocarina of time just fine, and even master quest.
Even if not, you could much easier rename the roms internal name than renaming all the textures.

If anyone else runs into that, you might try the 64bit patch that enables using more than 2GB of ram. Mine crashed while loading textures too, but now it works fine after applying that patch. :tup:...pj64 would attempt to load the textures until it crashes at approximately 5,181 textures. I'm basically wondering if anyone else has had this exact crash occur, and looking for assistance please and thank you.
I loaded all 5748 textures into GlideN64's new .htc format, if anyone's interested. I had to turn on Alternate CRC to get all the textures cached, but some wouldn't display in-game unless I turned it off again after the initial load.
So, just leave off Alternate CRC with this for best results.
