Once upon a time Nintendo fanboys could go to bed dreaming about the Revolution, now Nintendo fanboys go to be dreaming about Wii.

Imagine the humour as kids go off to play water sports games with their Wii, oh and you've got to imagine the possibilities for future emulator names ;)

Well at least the game is different. Also, what is a name, I mean it really isn't anything. As long as the system is good, thats all that matters.

Hrm, this name sucks alright - but its just as controversial as wind wakers graphics - and you know what stuff that people don't want to hear does? it travels - Nintendo has just raised awareness of their console quicker than ever easily now. But meh - I really enjoyed wind waker so i'll forgive them. Feck people who won't play WW just because of graphics those are the most childish of all and the same is true of those not wanting nintendo's wii console.

Sometimes you have to do bad things to get noticed... :p "wii" is probably going to be pronounced more like why than wee anyway. So its like you walk in the store and you just say can I get a nintendo y please? :p

Nintendo are bloody marketing geniuses. You don't know how powerful controversy can be.

There maybe no such thing as bad press, but there are better ways to do it, like make Paris Hilton the new Princess Peach....now thats horrifying :p

I would laugh if then some hentai games company makes a third party controller for the console with rumble and squirt feature.....

You've got to admit though, "wii" is an original name - not like just sticking 360 on xbox or adding a number to PS to make it ps3. Nintendo sure have got guts to do stuff like this. It may pay off - only time will tell.

Frankly, i'll buy it even if it was named Nintendo Shit - i enjoy owning everything. *pets his xbox 360*
