What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Looks great as always Djipi...
YOur pack was the main reason for me to upload all packs I've found to rapidshare, to give them finally a proper host and save them for the future.
So expect some more comments on this HOT topic! ;)
Nice to have you back!

I've recently come across Hi-Res texture packs and I must say...I'm very impressed. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread in particular.

Hi all,

First, I would like to thanks Djipi for this amazing work on Zelda.

Now, I wish to use this pack under PJ64 with rice video plugin (version 6.1.4) . (I prefer to use PJ64 instead of 1964 emulator due to bug of start menu in Zelda).

But, I get error messages when PJ64 (version 1.6) tries to load this plugin :

Failed to load plugin: C:\Program Files\Project 64 1.6\Plugin\RiceVideo.dll
Failed to load plugin: C:\Program Files\Project 64 1.6\Plugin\RiceVideo6.1.3DX9.dll

With 1964 emulator, these plugins work fine.

My configuration is a labtop (bought one month ago) with:

Geforce 8600M GS
Intel Core 2 duo 2 T7250 @2GHz
3 Go DDR
Windows Vista Home Premium (so with directx10)
Drivers are updated
Emulator and Plugins correclty installed (in right folders)

I think this configuration is enough to run N64 emulator and I don't understand why plugins work fine with 1964 and not with pj64. I looked on bounty souce site. There is a bug reported which describes my problem and it seems that problem coming from directx10...
There is another people who occured the same problem?
Or better there is someone who can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I assume that your OS is also Vista.
In case of yes, I don't understand problem's source :-(

I will try to contact Mudlord if this issue occurs often or not.
Until to have a fix, I use 1964 for Hi-Res texture pack ...

It's a user problem I guess, because it can't load Rice, because of some missing dlls in the PJ64 folder. Just check whether there are the same dlls in the main folder of PJ64 and 1964. But next time, please post it in another thread and not DJIPIs thread, because it's a generic problem, not a problem with his texture pack.

Thanks a lot! It was msc*.dll which were missing. It works fine now!

Sorry to posted my problem in the wrong thread. For the next time, I will be more carefull :D

I can use now :pj64: with this wonderfull pack. I have to wait on a complete updated pack provided by Djipi. There are lots of pack available on the web and I don't know which is the latest one.

Thanks again.

It's really amazing

You make a great job, keep this hard work.

I'm curious to know how do you proceed to make it. I would like also to re-texture a game (conker's) but at step to redefine texture in gimp, for example, I'm totally a noobs at this moment  ...

Driscol

The texure that I circled, it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the textures in the scene. Especially compared to Link's shield, it just seems too shaded.

Insane... I feel G O O D
Really great job!! :D

I have a suggestion, Link would look like Wind Waker Link if you change his eyes and eyebrows color to black... but it's just a suggestion :)

Nice work Djipi. It looks really good. I remember way back when you started editing textures. You've improved so much since then.
