These screenshots give you a rather nice graphical representation of the speeds you can expect:

The avg gameplay speed is 3.x - 6.x FPS, indoor and very low intensity scenes will take you as high as 14 FPS on rare occasions, but mostly will be around 11 FPS. The average menu will be 11-35 FPS. 2D intro (which explains the basic story line), reaches a astronomical 100 - 104 FPS.

Woah, where do those screen shots come from? Are they real? I was going to make up a saved game to get past the telescope error, but if you've already got it past that point could you post the save game so I can play with it?

Edit: I just read the other thread to see how you managed to pull that off. It's a shame because as I recall you don't actually have the ability to make a real save when doing it that way. I guess if I want to get by the telescope I'll still have to mnually make my saved game.

Current test page / ini I work on is: here

The Legend of Zelda - Collectors Edition [PZLP 45C7] (EUR)

This game goes to menus, and no further....UNLESS you open up the GCM in a GCM extractor, and extract ZL_WindWakerPALSHOP_final_2003-09-26_16-45-37.tgc, with this file extracted you then have to use a TGC to GCM convertor, to make a new GCM based on this file, if you then take your new GCM and run it with dolphin, you will be pleasently suprised ;)....

Tools you will need to do this are:
TGC to GCM Convertor
GCM Reader

Posted many many many more shots in the screenshots thread, all obtained via this method :D

Well... CK is one of the most experienced and hardcore Beta testers... Should be like a breeze to him. ;)

it's quite fun when you have the demo version :D

Demo Version?! So you say that the Full version will not pass the telescope, even if do this? I will give it try, and ifi am lucky, then maybe i will be able to run windwaker full version..:term: But does anyone know what the problem? I think that maybe it has something to do with puting a item to the invetory, right? So will it fixed in the next release?

I open the GCM with the extractor, but the ZL_WindWakerPALSHOP_final_203-09-26_16-45-37.tgc, is not there. So where is it?

PS: Sorry for double posting.

Because you are using the final version. CKemu is using the Zelda Collector's Edition Wind Waker demo.

The only actual diffrence here is the fact that the demo version isn't fully playable. It comes preloaded with 3 saved games at diffrent parts of the game, for demo purposes. You can't save in it. So when he took those shots he didn't get by the telescope error, so much as simply load a save that is past the telescope.

The game crashes whenever you get a new item. In the demo and in the full version.

The instructions you are following are merely to make it so the demo is playable, it isn't to fix the errors. In otherwords it's entirely useless to attempt it with the full version. SInce the full version already plays just fine.

The Force be with you!!!
Nobody try to make a Dolphin save editor like chankast and his vms browser? It will be great for past this telescope crash and for another games.

It's just something that would allow you to take a real GC save off a memmory card and then use it in dolphin. And I most likely will when I have some spare time. I was planning to make such an app this weekend, but I've got so much program for work that I just don't feel like it right now. Maybe in a couple horus I'll give it a go.

I really wish the stupid header format for the dolphin saves was documented it would save me a bunch of time.

Where's your avatar at?
I'm a n00b in the area of fixing bugs in emulation (or for that matter, a n00b in emulation all together) but after I downloaded the Official Dolphin Game.INI 0.4.0.zip file from this post and found that there is a sweet tool called "Map File Maker" I thought of an idea. Could anyone possible use this tool to make a bootable map file for Zelda WW that boots straight to after the telescope bug? Is everyone completely sure that ZeldaWW hangs at every new item recieved, and not just the telescope?

So i think that a game save will help right?
