Zelda:Ocarina of time

Been trying to replay ocarina of time and have been runnign into a problem. Every time i try to leave kokiri forest through the tunnel i run into the tunnel and suddenly i get and error that says "Unhandled R4300i opcode at:801EEC88
Unknown 05 15 00 0A

stoping emulation!"

i have tried multiple copies of the game and ran goodn64 on all of them but still get the same error.

i have p64 1.5 w/ sp1
running on a P4 2.6 ghz 512mb ram
Geforce FX 5200 with 128mb video ram

can anyone help me?

ok i followed your instructions and the game ran fine for several days...all of a sudden the error message reappears. i still have the self modifying code set at change memory & cache and all the other settings are default but the error still keeps reappearing. everytime i enter the door in the gerudo fort this happens.

there does seem to be one slight difference between the errors though this one says "tgei t0, 0x1A0" instead of the other second part

Humm...

I played and beat Ocarina of Time and that happened me just 1 or 2 times.
What I did is reset the ROM and use GAME SAVE. That should work.

Well, two more things you can try. Set the self-modifying code to Protect Memory, at least temporarily (the game will likely be a bit sluggish). Secondly, avoid using save states.

I definately agree with Allnatural, save states aren't a good way to play games if you plan on actually beating them. Native saves are your friend!
