When I play Zelda: OOT with pj64 when i go to the equipment menu, the game hangs for a second, then shows the game with really blocky graphics, then goes to the menu, which is also very blocky, when i leave, all the graphics go back to normal and the game runs fine, anyone tell me what settings to put on or plugins to download to help this?

That's because it's a framebuffer effect and Jabo's plugin does not use a hi-resolution one. glN64() has a hi-res framebuffer, but also has other problems in OoT. The best plugin to use for this game is Direct64, but it is unsupported by your video card.

Two ways to fix the subscreen delay,
1. use the subscreen delay cheat or
2. Change the counter factor to 1. (this doesn't work for everyone)

Right click the game in the rom browswer, and click 'Edit game settings'. By default, it's on CF 2. Try changing it to 1. If it makes no difference then you must use the cheat to avoid the delay.

Doesn't Hackturax's lastest wrapper beta allow HWFB for the Zelda games? I believe Glide64 also uses a high-res framebuffer for Zelda and with the latest wrapper it should work for non-Voodoo cards now. Haven't tried it myself though.

you could also go to the pj64 site and download the service pack in the cheats section. it gives you a cheat in the cheat menu that eliminates the hanging when you go into the menu. although, the blocky graphics are still there but as long as it loads fast who cares right?
