Zelda: Majora's Mask graphics issues

Several things are odd in Majora's Mask for me graphicly...
I'm using Project64 Vr. 1.6, Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 for plugin driver

1) In the town shooting gallery, they ALL look red thus it is impossible to figure out which ones are 'red' and which are 'blue' (perhaps there is a very subtle distiction i'm not seeing?)

2) If i look via the lens of truth the 'sparkles' from the Fairy Mask dont show up

3) Probably related to #2, stray faries (including those stuck in bubbles) dont show when looking through the lens of truth <insert 'there is no fairy' matrix-parady jokes here lol>

4) If i ajust the brightness above 100% in Jabo's certain things turn pure white (ie: The preview from the pictograph, certain parts of cut-scenes [usually most of the cutscene], and misc other things but i think that is because those elements are bright already) This could be purly related to the plugin but figured i'd mention it here any way.

5) Once on the second night I went to the curiosity shop and tried to talk to the thief and it crashed...not sure if this is reproducible or just a weird random thing (never bothered to try again but since i'm writing stuff up i might as well toss it in)

I've tried Rice's graphics plugin but that didnt help (actually made things a lot worse in some areas so i switched back to Jabo's)

Any help/ideas is appriciated :)

My systems specs are as follow:
Athlon 2.08 Ghz
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
Win XP Pro with SP2
DirectX 9
Sound Blaster Audigy ZS 2 (or something along those lines)
1Gb DDR RAM

Well I can answer #4 for you right now but the rest I'll have to check later.

Like FSAA, the brightness 'modifier' can disable certain framebuffer effects, leaving you with incorrect results. The FSAA slider tends to be a bit more friendly than the brightness slider but its best to the control panel the driver came with (For FSAA at least).

Final Note before I pass out / go to sleep... I recall #3 at least working before.

I could've sworn there was a general warning for the brightness slider somewhere but I cant recall right now. I'll look later / ask Gent if it was included it in the docs.

At your service, dood!
I can answer #1: Those things in the towns arrow gallery have red and blueish heads, at least for me they do.

Heres a screenie - Make sure you don't have any of jabo's advanced options on.

Pretends to make sense
I can offer some insight on #5. Way back when MM first came out, people complained about talking to the running man (Sakon) causing a crash in the curiosity shop on the real N64. This may not be an emulator issue.

I tested #2 and it still works.

#3 probably still works as well (I didnt play enough to actually use it on say... a chest to see through it though)

Er, nevermind ScottJC has successfully uploaded a pic :D

Thanks for the screen cap ScottJC.... i couldnt tell very well in the actual shooting game at first but i see the differences now much easier, especially when i run it in full screen mode (and yay! Just got my 40-arrow quiver! =) Helps when half your time doent vanish from hitting blue ones by accident lol)

As far as #2/#3 I'm about to go check the woodfall temple to see if anything has changed with that............. Hmmm oddly i can see them fine now.... maybe it was an isolated incident at the snowhead temple (there are a couple areas where you need the lens of truth to see through false-walls to find fairies which are in bubbles and I couldnt see a darn thing.... one of which is in the middle of the cieling of the area which has the 3 goron-stomp switches and those little white ball things) so i'll go check that a bit later since they might only vanish when the lens is already revealing something and they are behind it...
