Zelda: Majora's mask glitch - goron mask

I've been running this rom without too much of a hitch (except that the sky is red), up until when I don the goron mask, and the emulator tells me "While processing graphics data an exception occurred; you may need to restart the emulator". I press OK and it continues to give me the same message (interrupting game flow) until I take the mask off or press R (shield).

I am running Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, AMD Athlon XP 1500+, 512 MB ram. Project64 version 1.6. ATI Rage 128 Pro video card.

Your video card is below spec for the Dx8 plugin.

this would've been made instantly clear had you have read the Help documentation bundled with the download.
