Zelda 64 beta quest help

When beta quest code 8011B9E3 0020 is activated, the Zelda: Ocarina of time rom will not load! (Well, actually, I do get as far as the spinning "N", but it stops there) Has anyone found a workaround or fix for this? I know my rom is good, and the code works in other emulators.

Thanks, I finally got it.
My beta 1.5 cht file must just be messed up, because I downloaded 1.4 and used that cheat file in 1.5 and everything works fine!
