Xbox 360 controll issues

This xinput plugin work fine just use this plugin with the official Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for windows drivers also i use this plugin for a while and it work ok.
Currently i am studying Xinput api and soon i be writing Xinput plugins for Playstation, nintendo 64 emulators. Also i add support for Xbox 360 Sterring wheels and headset for use with hey u pikachu.

why bother, Xinput is a dead api, every controller will still be made for dinput, only microsuck and xbox ports will use it.

rather, why not just improve the XBCD driver to support both the dinput and xinput api's.

further more, its not the controller scheme thats buggy, its the plugins other features which are extremely flawwed.

problem with PC gaming is that its hard to add gamepad support to pc games because there are 100 different types of pc gamepads but with console developers have only one gamepad to focus on therefor it easy to add gamepad support. what unique about xinput is that developers have one specific gamepad to develop for and so can associate the command for a specific button. game like resident evil 4 for pc it work perfect with xbox 360 controller. xinput is not dead as more newer game are started to only support Xinput like games like Crysis, halo 2 and bioshock plus many more. Also i played Resident evil 4 with both XBCD and the official drivers and XBCD aiming is totally innacurate nearly impossible to aim but with offical drivers it an ease.

all of these games are in the Games for windows program, AKA Ports.

find me a game that isn't a port that uses Xinput. you won't find one.

funnily, your the ONLY person giving praise to the official drivers, anyone else has dumped em and moved to decent drivers.

Xinput is a dead api, and will only be used for Ports from Xbox360, or games that will be ported to the 360.

as it stands, Crysis, Halo 2 and Bioshock were good to look at, but failed the gamer tests.
