well the xbox controller kinda sux ass, i played it in Game and it kinda hurt my hands :( i heard that MS will bring out a new controller which is cool, but how many xbox games kick ass? not many

potential, is what the x-box has, and so does ps2, shit, i'll probably end up getting both;) just depends on which one i get first;)

go for the ps2. with classic games like devil may cry, onimusha, soul reaver, gran turismo 3, tekken, twisted metal, and silent hill u really can't go wrong. and anywayz, who the fuck want waits 4 month til they port their classic games to xbox and gc?

I got an Xbox ( With ModChip... and coming with EvolutionX).
And I'll buy an PS2 (modchip for dvd) maybe 3 of november...

because : they're very good systems... ;ÐÐ ...
Xbox problem is : games
PS2 problem is: system

xbox dont need memory card... and you can copy the games for his HardDisk... but PS2 have final fantasy x, gta3 and vice city, kingdom hearts...

perharps in 2003 or 2004 i buy an GameCube to play Zelda... ';ÐÐ

err, sucks for you with the x-box, probably one of the best mod-chips you can get now came out like, yesterday;) as for ps2, i think i'll wait a bit;)

Although PS2 is the best right now, if MGS2, PSO, and a few others come out, I may end up getting one. I had a feeling that xbox would turn up to be a big time hobbiest toy, and it has very much so done just that (on a much greater scale than any console at that). I just hope that decent mod chips will be available for em by that time.

at what time? well, x-box just came out with a great mod-chip, the kind that you have to flash your own bios on, so yes, it is 'legal' to some extent, except the whole part of putting it in your x-box, some where in the agreement with microsoft you can't do that, but, eh. PS2 looks like it has good usb mod-chips, but i haven't looked into if you have to open the ps2 up and do any internal stuff.

Microsoft has been revising the physical hardware on the xbox to be anti-mod chip. What I am saying is that I hope that by the time I decide to get an xbox, should I ever want one, I hope there will be mod chips available for that revision.

Otherwise I wont be able to play with xbox linux, or any of the other nicities that are around.

Personally I would go for GameCube
but this is a choice bettween xbox and ps2
I'd go for ps2 since its got way better games for it.

hehe, hey, have they already done that with the recent x-boxes or what? i've heard a few rumors about it, but no real 'official' word that it has been done. hmmm...:blush:

I dunno...gamecube somehow reminds me of a soup sandwich....I just don't like that console at all, and a lot of the better PS2 games are being ported to xbox. That combined with the fact that xbox would make a good hobby toy to waste time on.

hehe, everyones complaint about gc is the physical shape,

because the color of a car makes it go faster right?:)

the real problem behind XBOX is M$, and we all know how it works.
another reason to think about it is that the hardware XBOX have in it make emulation more easy that ps2 emulation.
