Splinter Cell is only exclusive on X-Box for six months with a media blackout on the Gamecube and PS2 versions for those six months

the X-Box in theory has massive potential, however it wasn't (unlike the Gamecube) designed with the idea of removing bottlenecks that cause slow downs/ frame issues thus the hd can become a limiting factor, games can suffer from slow down or frame rate issues when loading off of the hd, it's ironic that it's greatest asset over other consoles can be used so badly

oh really?.. had no idea bout that one.. the game has pretty alright gfx on the xbox.. might not be as good looking on the cube and the ps2.. but honestly i don't find that game to be as good as the hype it gets.. same with halo.. but i guess that is relative to how many good games you have on the xbox.. the best games on a console will surelly get the most hype.. even if relative to other console games they might not be that good..

also.. well.. the xbox is a PC..

what does this mean?.. it means you don't trully need an emulator..

what you need is to somehow get the OS running on your PC.. how you do that i don't know but i know ppl are trying.. and i have a strong feeling that they'll most probably succeed..

ok you could argue that a few things might need an emulator but somehow i'm doubting there'll be much work of that kind needed..

i can see my system boot screen in the future having the choise of RedHat, Win XP, Win 2k and WinBox..

if they somehow manage to do this.. well.. our home PC's will become xboxes.. sure you would have to have someone write drivers for alot of things on that OS.. but it somehow still sounds possible to me..

and then if this happend.. tell me who would buy an xbox?.. xbox has only limitations compared to a pc.. even an xbox arcade cabinet seems like a stupid idea at this time.. since you can't really upgrade the xbox as easy and as much as you could a normal pc instead.. so even the use in that is going down the drain.. all i can see saving this console is xbox live.. but at the same time MS is being abit too carefull with it.. kind of surprised that MS is being so carefull with the launch of live.. since they are literally sticking their consoles up ppl's noses.. it's really unlike MS to be so carefull with live.. but if they where smart.. they wouldn't care SO much about how many have hacked their way in as how many ppl they have in there totally and just give them a grand experiance.. then.. when they have so many ppl hooked that they can live off of it.. then they could start cutting ppl off because they hacked themselfs in etc..

that imo sounds more like MS :p.. maybe they are getting soft hehe..
