Windows XP x64 Question

Does MS has oficially released it in spanish version? just wondering, because I have googled for it without finding any evidence...

yeah its a great OS, the whole OS seems quicker to respond, especially booting

the only bad thing i can say about it is the driver support, but if all your hardware is supported like mine (bar my eyetoy) it's all good

There are several parts about the X64 version that made me go back to the standard XP Pro VLE:

1: As was said, driver support wasn't the best. I couldn't find any for my TV Card for the life of me, couldn't update most of my motherboard drivers due to most drivers only working with XP Pro.

2: Had some issues overall with a couple of games I frequently play. I couldn't get Final Fantasy VII PC working correctly with high res stuff from the Qhimm website, for example.

I have a 64 bit processor and all, but I really didn't see any sort of improvement over the standard XP Pro VLE edition. A new background, a optimazation or two, but nothing that would prompt me to want to stay with the "upgraded" OS. I'll wait for progress on Vista before I upgrade (because right now it's buggy as hell, haha).

i dont think there's any point in a widnows xp 64 version. It isnty popular to use for developers, casual people wont use it and many people havent got a 64 bit processor, but if they did they probably wouldnt know if they did or not.
I'd say just wait for the Windows Vista 64 bit version.

It is because that I have used Windows in spanish even since Windows 3.1. I don't know but is just a stupid feeling that I feel more comfortable using the OS on my mother language. Of course I have other programs like the antivirus, and other stuff in eglish, because they are not available on spanish and I don't use them so often.

BTW does anyone good finding information about MS find out if there's an official spanish release?
