Why would runing emulators kill my queue list in WinMX?

I know it sounds strange, but its definitely happening. Mostly when my son plays using VisualBoyAdvance, but I am pretty sure it happened once running SNES9x too. As far as I know, so far Project64 has NOT affected WinMX.

How sure am I that VisualBoyAdvance is killing our queue list in WinMX>? Just about 100% ... but I have no clue why it's happening.

I think it's a case of the emulators taking most of your processors time, hence not leaving enough spare for WinMX.

If you are using Win2k or XP you could try going into task manager, highlighting the WinMX process and raising the priority to high or very high.
