OK I have had my copy of shenmue for two days now and I still can't get it to play. I have already jumped many hurdles just to get to the problem im at now.

I have tried shenmue disk 1 shenmue disk 2 and utopia boot disk and all wield the same results. DC boots up, it ask me for the time I skip that and it thinks for a moment then immediately ask for the time again, again I skip that. Then it takes me to the DC menu screen. I select Play and a music disk appears.

I have been all over these forums in passed couple days and it has helped me to fix many of these problems but I couldn't find a solution for this. I know its not the aspi/xxx problem and I made the disk a selfbootable one (at least I think I did, I followed the fastboot instructions to a T) and I am using dameon 3.29.

Please help! Thanks in advance!

Looks through my site for another Dc_flash.bin (no it's not the BIOS, rather a replacement for the flash file). It should at least fix the "ask time/date many times" problem.

hello, with your flash time/date screen disapears but... game still fails.

i ve converted sfIII 3º strike from cdi (extracting files) to bootable cdi with dir2boot but now simply SEGA screen with ColsoleVision apears and nothing happens.

I use daemon tools 3.29

i tried days ago with SFIII second impact and failed cause is not compatible but almost loaded the game...

I'm stuck
