Hi,

Why, of the all loved machines the N64 was threated with this curse called HLE?
This is the motive of all the crappy emulators, bad compatibility and this revolting situation with the emulation of the N64.
We need a miracle, who knows, can happen... A emulator for the N64 LLE, with dynamic recompilation for speed purposes. It will require more computer power, but the compatibility would be fantastic... Probably never will happen...
But the programmers learned your lesson, of all the emulators for next-generation machines, the only ones using HLE is the two XBOX emulators.
But the XBOX is a entirely different history, the PC and the XBOX are so alike you CAN have HLE with PRECISION (compatibility).
Thanks Reality Man and Epsilon, you are the responsible for the end of the N64 plattaform like a forever lasting system, like the NES, Genesis, SNES, PSX, Dreamcast, Amiga, C64 and the list goes...

I must be using a diffrent emu to you as compatibility seems very good on my system.

If you can't live with the odd error get yourself the real machine.

You do have a point to a degree but N64 emulation is pretty good with a 90% of games working and with the right plugin's and know how you can get games to run near perfect.

i don't think we need a miracle as for me and many others the emu work very well you must be one of the unlucky ones who cant run them very well.

It is recurrent topic to complain about emulators and their features and more often to say things as the emu´s coders are getting paid for what they do, the real thing is that we should thank enormously these ppl, because they do it with no thought of reward and make possible to us play the most various games without the burden to acquire all the machines needed to run them on.
Glitches, low compat and other problems are common to every emu, however PJ 64 did to the N64 emulation what NESticle did to Nes and Zsnes did to Snes.
We are all in an obligation to positive contribute to the coders by giving our opinions and experiences so they can further improve their project, but such commentaries as the ones given by this slk_forever dude adds nothing to the scene and worst, it takes time of the ppl who are here trying to help other ppl with real problems trying to run this outstanding emulator.
Oh! and one other thing,( plz forgive me mods, but it has to be done.)

the scene has slowed down a bit, but i shouldnt complain. just should be thankful there even is a scene. id like to know how to code emulators, but thats a ways off for me i guess.
