ok project 64
is the best n64 emulator ever made i never had problems with it.
Exept when i played 1080 everything seems to be fine until a
couple of minutes of gameplay it freezes or stutters for a few secs and returns normally a couple of mins and it stutters again then it returns back to normal. This process keeps repeating its self over and over. This shouldnt happen its a fully compatible game. Well if you can help me thankyou if not thanks anyway.

here are my specs

Athlon 1.21 processor

265 of ram

Nvidia geforce 2 ultra gts

60 gb

microsoft windows xp home edition

soundblaster live

Komputer Expert, the same happens for me

The pausing is caused by "Protect Memory", not advanced block linking. This is a known issue that has been happening with
all versions of Project 64. If you can't deal with it, change
the self-modifying code handling method from "Protect Memory"
to "Check Memory and Cache", but if you do, 1080 may sometimes
crash ramdomly.

with the right settings(you should post BTW) it plays superb for me in 1.4 .. you should have played it in PJ1.2 ,it's a huge improvement now to then .. it plays fine for me .. emulator settings always helpful though..saves the obvious guesswork

I beg to differ. Protect Memory on it's own shouldn't cause problems if your system is fast enough (and a 1.2GHz Athlon is plenty). I used to see the occasional pause on my Protect Memory games, until I disabled ABL.
