Hey guys, which RSP is better for 1964 in your oppinion, the mupen one, or the PJ64 one? And I was wondering, will we even need to bother with these pug-ins after 1964 1.0?

If you look at mupen64 readme file there's a section where it explains what are the advantages of my plugin....
Jabo's plugin is more accurate but on slow systems, my plugin is faster and can help getting better sound if you have problems with azi's plugins. Again read the readme provided with mupen64 i've written a long explanation about it.
Thanks for the help! I think i'll try your plugin Hacktarux, since its better on lower end systems! And about 1964 1.0, we wont need one at all, not even for Tooie?
Hacktarux's is the newest released RSP, and it smoothes out audio errors and some speed errors in Mupen 64, or any emulator. DONT forget that you have to change the name to rsp.dll from Mupen64_rsp_hle.dll in order for it to work on any emulator except Mupen 64
1964 1.0 will support RSP.dll plugin, and better, will support more than one (one at a time though). You will select one or another, without having to rename the dll. filename
Correction: my earlier posts were wrong. This is the right info, I believe.
The beta has the ability to do a lot of things without the RSP that .85 had to have it for. You can still pick and choose RSPs, it's just that frequently you won't need it.
:satisfied Nice, very nice.... What is the quality of the new 1964 RSP, is it better for low end, or high end? Also, is it better for sound quality in 1964?
edit: I am wrong, I apologize. It doesn't need it for a lot of things that .85 needed it for. That doesn't mean there is one built in.
In most cases, the .99 beta without RSP attached produces superior sound and gameplay vs. .85 with the rsp.
