For the fun of it I decided to build the adapter found here
http://home.t-online.de/home/stephan.hans/n64.htm
I have all of the components but the Cmos 4006 18 bit shift register (cd4006b or MC14006B) and wanted to know of a reputable place to purchace it online? Basicaly looking for a good electronics supplier. Thanks for any info.

If your interested in building one this site gives very clear diagrams

The overall cost is around $15 to $40 depending on what electronics you already have. Is actually easier/cheaper to buy an Adaptoid. But it is a nice little project if wou like building electronics.

I have on of those, I can recomend a adaptiod instead. Will cost about the same with building time included, pretty easyily built, but the adaptiod is a much better product :D For the interface you have to use second hand drivers, although good not as good as the adaptiods...
