Whats the best graphic plugin for pj64?

I was wondering what the best graphic plugin for pj64 was.:blush:

I use five different plugins regularly: Jabo’s D3D6 1.5, gNintendo64() 0.32 beta, Glide64 0.4 WIP, Rice’s Daedalus 4.6.0 and Unofficial DaedalusD3D8 0.08 Rel. 3, but Jabo's D3D6 1.5 works best for my computer for the most roms. You should try them all as the best plugin depends on your system. (esp. Video card.)

Try Jabos, Rices Daedalus and glNintendo64. Jabos is particulary good for compatity as is Rice's

Your plugin list is good, but too rate Glide64 when using wrapper is not correct.

Yep. Glide64 in itself is a great plugin, but in tandem with the wrapper (which I have to use) errors crop up (although eVoodoo has excellent smoothing features which I adore) Might want to add '+eVoodoo beta' (I use the one Doom posted) where I say Glide64.

I've been trying to use Rice's Daedalus but when I use it all the characters and objects are white and It doesn't let me change the main settings like Render, Combiner type, Render buffer, Depth buffer, Open GL Color Buffer and the window and fullscreen resolutions.

You can only change these options when not in a game.

What would be the best plugin for my card? (In sig).

I'm currently using Jabo's DirectX3D 6 1.5, it works fine with no bugs but at 40-50fps instead of 60fps I was getting with OpenGL plugins, but now any OpenGL plugin I try using doesn't even load the game before it states 'PJ64 has had errors and will now close' :getlost:

It uses DX, so won't crash, and its fast. It's an older plugin compared to the OpenGL, so it has errors, but I think you'll get good (fast) results.

I might just as well add that it is *NOT* a beta! That very file you download is the same you can get at ET's download section. The only other thing is that it contains a control panel instead of the config utility for config and install/uninstall script.

so for my radeon 8500, what do you guys figure is the best plugin? im using jabo's 1.5 atm, but i get massive graphic corruption in mario golf and mario tennis. (i think?) this is a known issue with these games but is there a different plugin that would lessen the corruption or fix it with my 8500?
