I lurked for a short while to get used to the board and then registered. I was already pretty familar with PJ64 and a lot of Snes emulators as I had been using them for a while on an old PC trying things out to get things working. I didn't really need much emulator-related help, I just registered anyway. It's amazing how much info you can find by simply reading a lot of threads.

Not sure why I started coming here. I think it was around the time I got myself a faster computer in 2001, a 900mhz Athlon.

I found out about Emulation from a computer magazine I had read that mentioned MAME and how you could play thousands of arcade games on your PC; then I read another article about N64 emulation in PC Zone, specifically dealing with UHLE.

Used UHLE/Corn for a short while and started to use PJ64 at at around version 1.4, maybe 1.3 not 100% certain on that, used 1964 too at about version 0.72 (complete guess).

Looking back at my earlier posts, I seemed to not be too much of a noobie, though I was probably nicer to people back then (I remember winning the first of the now non existing awards, was incredibly chuffed about that) :D

I don't remember how I came here, maybe doing a google search, and after searching for my first posts, I saw that I first requested help with Goldeneye because was emulated slower than other ROMS using Project64 1.5 using my other PC (P4 1.6 Ghz, GF2 MX400)

I had used Nemu a few times after "discovering" emulation, but was lead to PJ64 (and Emutalk, subsequently) on recommendation from another board. ET remains my most frequent stop when cruising the information superhighway.

I do believe I originally came in for some help with PJ64, after lurking about for a month or so to learn everything i could about the emu i joined to try and help people with what I had learned.

Also, I had a crush on Clements.:inlove:

LOL! :bouncy:

I came here to replace my previous nick which got banned  LMAO just kidding. I came here because I wanted to become apart of the first community regarding to emulation. I came here to learn more about emulation so I can emulate more systems. And just look at me now. :)

Well... to be truthful

I am part of the furniture here. See I've forgotten it's been so long dang it. I think the place was called something 64 before it became Emutalk. Heck I was curious about N64 emulation an emulation in general. Did lots of embeded system programing and design. mmmm that was quite a while ago though.

I just felt like it damn it! :D

You mean Emulation64.com? That's probably how I found my way here...

First post was in 2002, I was running UltraHLE nicely, but was looking for help to get PJ64 working on my ATI Rage Fury.... Sadly, no one was actually able to help me (everyone was buying Nvidia), so I did my own testing and created the article in my sig.

These days I'm too lazy to do any kind of beta testing. I just sit back and smile when I read the changelogs of the newest emulators :). And hang around the forums :p.

The only reason I stayed here is because people don't use the words
"lolxorz" or "kekekeke".

seems like there are some sane people here, so I stick around.

I am not sure, in any case you folks might notice Nov 2001 on a few members anyone with that sign up date has been here since BEFORE 2001 because that's when Martin switched to a PHP based forum instead of a PERL script based forum :D I think I signed up like in 2K or something. It's been a while. The Perl Code was at least highly abuseable I remember
