Okay, newb question. What, exactly is rsp you are all talkin about? I'm new to this, just gettin into it. Learning a little here and there.

Also, does anyone have the adaptoid and play it with conker? Just curious because I have the drivers for it and conker did not once rumble. Is it just me or somethin else?

Its a Chip "The Reality Signal Processor ("RSP") on a real 64 that processes most audio and some graphics (depends on game programming and also adjustable via configuration options). <- Courtesy of pj64 help.

Now I don't remember what these both were called, but afaik, the rsp processes both both.
I think it was audio that only one of these processed. Might be wrong, though.

Is there a real need for for any rsp? I don't see any real sense of urgency to get them. Maybe I'm wrong.

go to the downloads section, download project 64, unzip it download the service pack for it and install that, then take the plugins folder contents and put them in your 1964 plugins folder

There is no urgent need, since the rsp is mostly not used in HLE emulation. But some things require it, and for those I'd suggest hacktarux's rsp plugin, since it's faster than jabo's.
