Paper Mario's flickering is getting very annoying. In the GameFAQ it says to try a 3rd party video plug-in. What's the best one to use?

unofficial deadalus D3D 8 pre3 graphics plugin seems to solve many problems (it comes with 1964), but there are some errors (e.g. the shadows are white);
I really want to play this game, so please let me know if you find anything (I played half of the game with jabo's plugin but the flickers become unbearable) ???

Err, not really, you can actually ignore the flickering.
I seem to have noticed (i think) that jabo's 1.4 has less flickering than 1.5.
