I would also like force feedback. But what i really want is a more user friendly interface like 1964's. More advanced options and simply things that'll make it look good and be a lot more customisable.
BTW
Not on my gaming rigs
Yeah but some of us got not so good gaming rigs(not me! mine works fine :D).

Tough luck, this is how it has been since the beginning of time - People get new technology, someone gets better, people who had the technology first then can't afford to buy it.

So the cycle continues... my point is not everyone can have top of the range PC's and that certainly isn't a reason not to make a new feature, back to my original answer: tough luck.

/me is off to enjoy games on his fantastic rig :D

That was just a general responce to people complaining about new features because of slower systems not being able to support it, those kind of annoy me... hi-res textures are optional anyway.

That is not a valid argument against the incorporation of Hi-res texture support. If some users have underpowered machines and wish to use Hi-res texture support, then they need to upgrade, same as if they want to use Jabo's D3D8 and have a DX7 card or worse.

The requirements for Hi-res textures is not that high either, a mid-range GeForce/Radeon can easily handle it with no performance impact and have some filtering on top.

Unfortunately with a busy week I can't reply to most of these, but here is some responses, if you recognize these as your question please reply with some information, thanks

Its more natural for me anyway, to see the picture and know that what I'm hitting will control that button

but a simple picture and such for Jabo's pluggin would really make it look tons better and LOTS less confusing to people using it the first time.

I agree, but there I would really only be comfortable with including a cartoon flat-shaded rendition of the controller .. of which I have yet to find, if anyone would like to contribute this I am more than happy to consider using it...

I'd like to suggest Dolby Surround support for capable games

Not sure exactly how to do this, but it could be researched further

A new (or updated) logo and hi-res icon for XP that uses an alpha channel and the like would be nice for the main application. Someone with some good photoshop skills will probably have to help out with that though, perhaps submit a few designs and pick the best

Wouldn't mind seeing some artwork posted, actually been asking for this a while...

Iv'e had just a small problem with P64. I don't know if this is game specific but I'm guessing that it effects all games. I've been playing Ocarina of Time alot lately, and I've noticed that after I save the state and try to shut down P64 it hangs for a while and crashes, it doesn't do this too often but maybe 1/25. Also, another problem with the states, (I'm not sure if this problem is related to the last) when I just open up P64 and start Ocarina of Time and load my state, sometimes the graphics won't show up, and the screen will be a tan color. If this could be fixed that would be great!

How about the ability to order a pizza while playing a game? Ya know like FFXI i think it was...

Im kidding.

Anyways..

I suppose maybe the ability to use a controller/joystick/joypad for the GUI like Zsnes or RockNES.. That would be kinda cool.

Goodluck anyways.

true that *cough* :shifty:

What kind of debugging features you after and for what purpose ?

If you really wanted to 1.4 did have a debugger in it (Just download the source and compile it in). I might get that back in to the current build unsure yet.

Nintendo Zealot
Memory viewer/editor/dumper, R4300i and RSP commands debugger that can set breakpoints.. basically the things that Nemu64 has. Currently Nemu has priceless debugging features but PJ64 is a far superior emulator. Having both in one would be a tremendous help. I've compiled 1.4 with the debugger enabled, and it's got everything needed aside from a memory editor. ;)

What for? ROM hacking, and I guess I could say furthering my understanding of the N64 hardware. :)

Thanks for listening Zilmar, I appreciate your hard work. :flowers:
