What Do You Think Of Driver Parrallel Lines?

I'm thinking of buying Driver Parrallel Lines. I've read some reviews and most of them say it's average at best. So before I buy it I just wanted to know some proper gamers opinion of it. Thanks

I've not yet played it, but it has had some really positive reviews. Most people say that they were surprised at how great this one is, considering how awful Driv3r was. I will pick up an Xbox copy sometime, I'm sure they've sent it to me to review somewhere.

I've heard it is a definate step up from the last version - and suprisingly good.

If you can pick it up cheaply and keep your expectations down a tad, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I decided to buy both Driver : Parralel Lines & The Godfather. I have to say Driver is a lot better than i expected. I think that's mainly due to the fact that Reflections (the original team behind Driver) were involved in the making of this game. It feels like the sequel everybody always hoped for after it was announced that there would be a sequel to the Driver series on the PS2.
It certainly salvages some pride for Atari after the shambolic effort of Driver 3.

I have to say though that the Godfather is a much better game. It's perhaps my third favourite game of all time. Best mafia style game i have played since Mafia on the PC.

My overall score for both games :

Driver : Parralel Lines = 8/10
Godfather The Game = 10/10
