Weird Rumble Issue

I have tried N-Rage's plugin, and it doesn't work for rumbling. However, with Jabo's I get a rumble whenever something is loaded. For example in Turok 2, when I bring up the pause menu, it rumbles. I'm using a GGE908 PC Recoil Pad by Game-Elements. It's exactly like a PS2 controller. Anyone have any idea why this might be? I also got the latest drivers for it, and am using DirectX 9.0c. Windows XP SP2, If that helps at all. I'm not quite sure what the problem is. I know I have the controller installed fine, and the force feedback works in the properties of the game pad. Thanks.

EDIT:I messed around with other games and with Chopper Attack, it will tell me that it cannot detect the rumble pack, but then my controller goes on hyper-rumble or somethin'. Haha. It just starts rumbling at it's highest strength. Until I hit the start button to continue past the message.

Hi, Have you checked "raw data"?
"ramp force", "rumblestrenght 100%", those options work fine for me, but I have a logitech gamepad.

Sorry if I haven't helped you, but think that if you use rumble you can't use mempack... (or sometimes you can use it in controller 2).

Yes, I've messed around with those settings a lot.

EDIT: I'll try messin' with 1080, see what results I get from that.

Jeez, man! I have that controller too, and had this problem for a bit, but I forgot how I fixed it, ha ha ha. I'm sorry. I'll let you know if I can remember how I did it.

Shoot. Well, I tried 1080 and I get a constant pulse of rumbling. Two seconds between each pulse.

That doesn't help. I tried N-Rage's. I don't get anything at all with it.

EDIT: Any rumbling that is. I've tried v1.80, 1.81, and 1.82. None of them work, I've also tried Constant Force and Ramp Force. Nada. I think there may have been a very very soft rumble with 1.82 at the loading and closing of a ROM. But like... extremely soft. And yes, I have the rumble strength at 100%.

EDIT2: Ok, I can seem to get rumble to only work for Chopper Attack and nothing else. Heh. Any suggestions? It also appears that I hafta have nothing in or a mem card in and then switch a rumble in (or rather switch it to a rumble pack setting) when it asks for one. If I start out with one, it won't work.
