Due to the fact that my right to reply was taken from me by alnatural, I will now have to use a new thread , thus cluttering the board even more.

Ok, I would never ever question your "right" to close any thread you desire , being a moderator, however, I must question your logic here. How can you claim that a post asking to have the reasons explained for my login being barred from posting, be cluttering what is "Way off topic " forum anyway, when immediately below is a thread titled "girls" which has one line about basically nothing, an age poll, and a thread containing test posts which are not closed or the author being told that he/she is cluttering the board (and I'd defend there right to post anything in the "way off topic" forum also). I offended nobody, and used no profanities. In fact I cannot think of anything more "ON" topic than a post regarding posting on the message board.

Please explain your logic behind this decision.

I do not wish at any point to get into a "flaming" session with you, and if you read some of the posts that I have made, try to avoid getting nasty or using profanities at ANYONE, on this board.

I don't need to have the reasons why it was closed explained to me, just a reasonable answer to the above. Which if answered with reasoning, and good judgement I will accept, and further more apologise to you personally in this thread.

P.S. Why would I harass Martin with a PM, when theres a perfectly good forum set up for posting any topic I like anyway?

How can asking somebody to explain their reasons behind a decision , piss them off ?

This isn't my intention.

and I believe that AllNatural must have had a perfectly good reasoning behind his decision. That would be one of the qualities that he has shown in order for Martin to allow somebody to become a moderator, and have the power of decision, wouldn't it ? I have read other postings by AllNatural and he seems a perfectly reasonable person to me, so why would he take offence at my rather inoquous post ?

All I ask is to know the reasoning behind this decision, nothing more

All I asked for was reason why my post was closed in the "way off topic" forum.

I have never broken any of the forum rules, asked for Roms, or any of the other forum no, no's.

I feel that you are being rather heavy-handed, although I reiterate that I respect your "right" to close threads, give warnings etc, I simply questioned the reasoning behind the decision that's all.

Please can you stop treating me like this, you haven't even given a reason why I have been banned.

I feel no anger about this, just confusion and a little disappointment.

I hope we can deal with this problem in an adult fashion

But if I am banned again then I will understand the position I am in and refrain from re-registering, as my intention is not to embaress anybody, and I would assume that the decision has come from Martin himself, therefore I respect his final decision in this matter.

I hope you understand my point of view, and have the good sense to remove my ban.

NewYearsDay, you're previous nick was banned (and you were informed by email, so check it ) because names containing all punctuation marks/non letters i.e ********** are frowned upon.

You seem like a decent enough person to me (the fact you haven't flamed confirms this to me), the closure of your last thread seemed reasonable though for the following reason:

It really would have been more appropriate for a matter such as that to be discussed via PM, just better for all concerned I think.

And although the thread was closed, Martin could have still replied had he felt the need - simply because the Admin can reply to all closed threads (whereas mods can reply to them only in their own designated forums).

When you have to talk to just one person you use the PM system, especially with something like this.
