This is an Warning - Dont open any emails containing anything about the WTC Atack or similar DELETE The Email.
Originally posted In the P2Presense
The following written below is very important, it has been released before, but has now been released again.

VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ

During the next several weeks be VERY cautious about opening or
launching any e-mails that refer to the World Trade Center or 9/11 in
any way, regardless of who sent it.

PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

For those that don't know, 'WTC' stands for the World Trade Center.
This is very dangerous because people will open it right away,
thinking
it's a story relating to 9-11.

Do not open "WTC Survivor"... it is a virus that will erase your whole
"C" drive. It will come to you in the form of an E-Mail from a familiar
person. I repeat, a friend sent it to me, but called and warned me before I opened it.

He was not so lucky and now he can't even start his computer! Forward this
to everyone in your address book. I would rather receive this 25 times
than not at all. If you receive an e-mail called "WTC Survivor" do
not open it. Delete it right away! This virus removes all dynamic link
libraries (.dll files) from your computer.

Thankyou
Ph33r Viper

That sounds like a hoax to me...yes...its got hoax written all over it. Even if it isn't, just don't use outlook, that way even if you happen to get a trojan attachment, it won't do anything unless you voluntarily run it.

Ph33r Viper, this is so obviously a hoax. I hope you haven't forwarded this email 25 times to people like it said - otherwise you have just contributed towards this hoaxes notoriety. They rely on getting naive users forwarding them to create useless network traffic all over the Internet.

yea the power of e-mails.

I have hear a little girl is suffering from cancer, and somebody started to send e-mails to others asking for postcards to be sent to the little girl, in addition forward it to 10 other people.

In the end, truck loads of post cards were delivered to the girl's house everyday, and she couldn't stop it... sad

imagine

1st person sends to ten people and those ten people sends it to 10 other people and so on

10*10*10*10*10*10*10...
at the 7th row, 1 billion people will have read the e-mail (assuming there was that many people using the internet)

A boy is sick and if you send a copy of this e-mail to ALL the ppl. in your adress book ( ALL - if you send it to only 10 it wont work ) the e-mail provider will pay him 10C for every e-mail ! Hurry ! Send your e-mail's !

when an email tells you to forward to x number of people (or everyone), everything on it basically loses all its validity. i usually scan (ie old fashion with the eyes) the email for something like "please forward this to everyone you know". if it has this, then the message gets deleted right away.

E-mail is so fucking annoying. Whenever I do use email, I never forward anything I get, unless its information that I want to personaly deliver which serves a purpose useful to myself.

heres why:

chain letters: stupidest things ever
"get rich quick" pyramid: even stupider
"virus" or other alerts: if they were even worth a damn, they would come from a major source, not from stupid gossip.
little girl has cancer: can somebody please tell me how the fuck an email is supposed to cure cancer? aids? or name your favorite terminal illness here?
help the starving children in name your favorite poor country here: I don't even know where to begin explaining what all is wrong/stupid about this.

?????????????????????????
Gee, these mails is what i class as "spam," and as thus, are deleted right away before even opening it to examine its contents. How hard can it be? Nevertheless, a virus cannot do anything when it is not downloaded and runed. And who is stupid enuff to download something from an e-mail who came from someone they do not know?

Actualy in microsoft outlook this is not true, merely receiving a message can infect your system with anything in outlook, you don't even have to know if you got the message yet. Klez, among others, was a great demonstration of this "feature" added by microsoft.

And people wonder why I don't use outlook and internet explorer, which has similar known exploits.
