Want to Change MK64 Balance

I am very interessted into Changing my MK64 Rom.

I want things like to remove the Star from Battle-Mod, or to make it Green powerups only mod.

Is this possible ? if yes - How / Can someone Help me ?


Another thing would be that i would love some new Maps for GP and Battle.
Is it possible to make new maps / edit existing ones ?

Please help I am a big MK64 fan. Dont like any new parts on any new console (exept the DS - its ok )

Unfortunately, there's no editor, yet. Someone created a track viewer about two years ago. He didn't develop it fully, though.

Recently, someone created a new map by hex editing.

Head over to http://www.n64redux.com and make a post in the forums there. We've got some work on a retexture of Mario Kart 64 and may at some point do some track stuff. The requests you are asking are probably a little too far fetched, although there is a chance that those things could be achieved with a hex editor and memory streams from gameplay.
