VooDoo4 4500 AGP 32meg card for trade

Looking to trade this card for a couple V2 's that are known working in SLI.

Anyone interested let me know. The V4 is in quite pristine shape, but the machine I planned to build around it is not gonna happen now. I figured grabbing up a V2 SLI set is the next thing I'd be interested in.

FYI I have no box or software for the card. I did however install it my current rig and found drivers quite easily for it online. Worked great.

Would you be interested in bidding it and once you have them I will trade even up for it. Seems to make more sense that way since you know what you would want to pay for my card?

great Khan Artist, I will hold the card till I know how the Ebay goes.

Wish I could use the card, but there ain't no way I am replacing my Radeon, hehe.

I just asked the seller, and he says the cards have been in storage for "several years", were working when put in storage, may or may not work now, and have not been tested. They are being sold as is.

I'm willing to to pay $25 total.

np, Personally I dislike Ebay as it seems something always makes me miss out when I am trying to get it lol.

ah well. I still have the card and no further interest as of yet. I would simply sell it for $25, but I think I would prefer to hold on till someone possibly comes through with two V2's. Maybe another Ebay? Here's one, but it still has 6 days currently and the seller wants $10 bucks to ship!?!?

OK, Update on this offer. I just landed a 3DFX Monster VoodooII 12 meg from a buddy and will be looking for the exact same card to SLI with the first.

I will offer my VooDoo4 4500 for a single 3DFX Monster VoodooII 12 meg even trade (I'd prefer to get an SLI cable also, but I can make one if needed).

I am bidding right now on one at Ebay, so if I do get this one from there I may simply sell the card as suggested earlier by Khan Artist. If I don't get the one on Ebay just let me know if this trade interests you.

No SLI cable, unfortunatly, but I do have a monster 3d2 (12mb), which is in my machine right now, and works just as well as the day I bought it. I'd be willing to trade. :)

They are the same width (34-pins) but the middle 4 wires are twisted 180°


Modem the Ebay I am trying for ends in a couple hours. If I lose it, lets exchange mailing addy's and I will ship it out Monday via UPS to ya.

I was thinking about this and really either way my bid goes, I'm still interested in your Monster II card. I have two machines for my kids (both play N64 games) and they will want to have a V2 as well I'm sure. Right now I have a Pure3D II and the Monster II I just got. So I'll still need 2 more cards anyway.

You did also relize in my post that this card I have is AGP and not PCI?

Just want to make sure on that. One of the reasons I don't want it is I can't use it in conjunction with the main video cards I already have in place. It will have to be used as a primary card.

Yeah. I realize that. Thanks for asking. I'm eventually going to build a older machine (maybe a PII/III 300 - 500 mrz) that I'll use for older games that have a few incompatablities with XP. I'll likely install Windows 98/ME on that machine so I can play older DOS games, and just plain ol' games that have a tough time getting along with XP. And a Voodoo card is great for the games I'm wanting to play.

If we do end up making the trade (as it seems we likely will at this point), do you want me to burn you a CD with the latest drivers for the card? WinXP/Win98/Me ect.?

Thanks for the CD offer, but don't bother. I just use FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP Gold Edition myself. Works best and still in developement I believe?


Anyway I will PM you my real name and address info. Thanks for taking up on the offer.

I can mail as soon as Monday to you once I have the address. I assume UPS is OK?

don't mean to be nosey, but priority mail should cut it for something like an AGP card, when i bought my voodoo2's even though from diff people they actually shipped them First Class (ewww) and nothing happened, so priority mail would be more than sufficient
