Vista Crashes Display Driver

I'm currently using PJ 64 1.6, and am having difficulties with many games whilst running Vista. The games will appear to run fine, until a transistion, or seemingly random point in the game will cause the screen to go blank. After the machine recovers, sound comes back, and video resume if the game is changed back into a window from full screen. I don't know if this is a common issue or not with Vista(Home premium), my Graphics card drivers (Intel Onboard chipset)or the plugins(Jabo 3d 8). Problem still there in compatibilty mode.

Update your video card drivers, and use Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin. Generally speaking your Intel graphics chip is to blame.

I'm also using version 1.6 on an older pc with XP pro and on my newer pc with vista business. It runs fine on the XP pc but with the vista pc I also encounter problems like yours sometimes. Fact is, even some games like Gta San Andreas seem to act strange for some reason. Guess it's just the compatibility issues vista has.
