video problem

hey,

pj64 used to work pretty well on my computer but now it doesnt work aqnymore, i try to open a game file and up comes a message alert which says :

"Graphics error
Direct 3D failed to initialise"

after that

"the default or selected video plug in is missing or invalid"

then opens the plug in menu where the following pulgins are set:

Video: Jabo 3D 816
Audio: jabo directsound 1.6
input: jabo directinput 7 1.6

i really cant imagine what this is all about couse i never changed anything on my computer...does anyone know a solution? thanks!

I see from your crosspost in the 1964 forum that the same thing happens in 1964. What is your graphics card and what drivers are you using for it? Did you change drivers? Have you tried updating drivers?

the graphic card is an intel 82810 graphics controller (microsoft corporation)...i tried to do a driver update but it was not possible, even though the driver on my computer is from June 2001....on the intel website no information about this product could be found. anyways i never touched the drivers at all....i just wonder how it could stop working from oneday to the other....

i just did a directx update to directx 9c ... which didnt solve the problem
