The problem is "what ever onboard is stand. in an hp pavilion 6830", try using Glide64 + Evoodoo which tends to work really well with what I am going to assume is an Intel 810 chipset.

Just checked HPs site at: http://www.hp-at-home.com/products/pavilionPCs/specifications.php?modelNumber=6830

And found out this is your graphics card;
video graphics Integrated Intel® Direct AGP 3D graphics with up to 11MB of dynamic video memory

Not good I'm afraid, try Glide64 + Evoodoo though, you may get some good results. You can download both from the Emutalk download archive.

Also I am not sure about how Glide64 works with Mario Tennis, last I remember it had some stability problems, so you may be out of luck anyway :(

The N64 is more complicated to emulate than the PSX, that I know - the reasons? Not 100% sure, though I'm sure some techy types will probably furnish you with that detail later.

Extract Glide64 into the plugins folder
Extract Evoodoo into the main folder (ie the one with the PJ64, 1964 whatever .exe in it :))

Nintendo 64 has more powerful and MUCH more advanced hardware than PS1.

Yes, the Playstation is a 16 (maybe 32 but I'm pretty sure it's 16) bit system where as the n64 is 64 bit.
