ok its not.. but it should be.. im sure clements would agree with me on that. as sometimes having the newest DX fixes things...

i really hope the original poster isn't using ME's stock Dx7 install...

Ya, I recommend downloading and installing the DirectX 9.0c Redistributable (April 2006) Package, since it contains various libraries used by Direct64 and Rice's Video.

I thought Direct64 hadn't been updated for years? Why, then, would it need a revision of DirectX that was released just a few months ago? Didn't the author disappear shortly after boasting its experimental capabilities of cell shading?

d3dx9_24.dll has been in the SDK for a while and was not included in Redistributables until the DX9.0c revisions, and Direct64 was last updated in March 2005, so just over 1 year. Same goes for the msvc*.dll libraries required by Rice's Video.

I cant install the components of the Directx9.0 because every time i tried a message like this appear:
Internal Error
Consult DXError.log and DirectX.log in the Windows directory to identify the problem.
Well anyway, i finally can make the backgrounds of OG64 appear using the JaboDirect3D8.1.6 and using the advance settings (Use texture filter, Force Alpha Blending and and Direct3D clear mode in "always"),but now in some backgrounds a strange lines appear.

I too, have the problem with loading certain plugins such as Rice's and Glide64. I've installed DirectX 9.0c (April 2006) but the same problem persists. My emulator can't use the Direct64 plugin (It crashes when I try to load a game or configure it) so I need to use Rice's plugin. So does anyone have any idea why the plugins won't load? I've also added both the dll's mentioned in an earlier post in the emulator's root directory but it still won't work.

Well, if you meant for me to copy down the notes, here it is:

* The file nvdisp.drv is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). Current drivers tested for a WHQL logo are only available on Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. New Windows 98 drivers are no longer tested for WHQL logos.

As for Device info, it says:

Name: ASUS V7100PRO v11.01c
Manufacturer: (Standard Display Type)
Chip Type: n/a
DAC Type: n/a
Approx. Total Memory: 31.5 MB
Current Display Mode: 1024x 768 (32 bit) (Optimal refresh rate)
Monitor: DELL E773c
