if it doesnt work too good with jabos d3d 1.4, then i doubt ull hav much luck until a new gfx plugin is released (which wont be for a while). wat gfx card hav u got, usually cards that arent a NVIDIA or a newish ATI card, suffer from graphical problems.

configuration question...

What's the best way to configure jabo 1.4? i have a geforce mx 400, should i have triple buffering or double buffering or neither? what about the fog, etc? i've tried different settings, but i'm not really sure what the best is.

ok...

but first off...

...i'm no newbie. i've read pretty much every faq and manual relating to n64 emulation at some point. actually my interest in emulation would have 2 be considered more than a hobby at this point.

secondly.... it's been at least a year since i read docs about configging jabo....

thirdly... i smoke alot of pot.

fourthly... i was wondering specifically about the geforce family of cards. it seems like there would be some optimization specific to those cards, especially in the buffering dept.

fifthly... i've *obviously* been emuing fine for some time or i'd have given up.

sixthly... doomulation, your old avatar SUCKED. the new one is barely better.

seventhly... :1964:

eighthly... i'm not trying to start some flame war online, so don't get your panties all in a bunch... :p

ninethly... if you don't know the answer to the question, don't start screaming RTFM...

because i know based on your previous posts that your answer is likely to be less informed than what i already know... :)

/me goes to compile his latest hack.

and no, i'm not working on n64 emulation, so don't get all excited.

i'm working on a full 3d engine rendered entirely in SIRD. and not having anything to do with nintendo of any kind.

and i'm not the real brains behind it either, so don't take me for some cocky ass. lol... i'm just the humble ergonomics captain/ guy who makes the real brains go.... "JESUS, ok, i GUESS i can implement spline math and give you curves on this level." or something even less comprehensible to my slovenly naked ape brain.

cranky about dial up

First off: I see you're no newbie.
Secondly: Read 'em again!
Thirdly: What does that have to do with this?:plain2:
Fourthly: RTFM!
Fifthly: So why do you tell us? :plain2:
Sixthly: I don't care what you think.
Seventhly: I agree!
Eighthly: Then RTFM and don't ask stupid questions.
Ninethly: We don't need to explain things cowered in the manual.

My posts are my posts and I've had no problems with those.
Too bad.
Good for you...
I don't care.

I have a Geofrce2 MX 64mb running on a AMD Athlon 1600 1.4ghz 256mb DDR ram with a ASUS A7V266-E motherboard.

Allround this is a good PC spec, so i dont think its my PC thats messing up the screen.

for god sakes people are too in love with god damn manuals...seriously, instead of spamming 4 posts saying RTFM, u couldd hav said, check out the pj64 manual, and look where it says about double and triple buffering for the best definition, and try them both out....or simply reply with the answer like slougi did. much easier, and less messy. ;)

Since everyone likes to say 'RTFM' if it's in the manual ;)
I'll do it, too.
You know, why else would Smiff make a faq if no one read it?
