Regardless of which card you buy, you won't be able tu run "all the games" without errors. You'll be able to run them as good as they get with any of those cards, though. I'd recommend the 9600 out of all of those. :bouncy:

How fast is your CPU? That's the most important thing for N64 emulation. PJ64 will run great on a P4 with many outdated graphics cards. What are your current specs and what kind of problems are you having?

Both those cards will look no different from each other, but the 9600 will be faster by a margin. Seeing as N64 emulation is almost graphics card independant (as long as it's GeForce 3 or above, your fine whichever card it is) you'll have good accuracy with both I should imagine.

The 9600 is the better choice for a video card since it is only a tad more expensive and is much faster in PC games.

As already said, a processor upgrade will boost the speed up, which is great for games that have higher requirements.

It seems like you probably have integrated graphics right now, so it's a great idea to get a gfx card and you will see a great improvement. With a P4 I'd go with the 9600... the card will last until it's eventually time to upgrade the CPU.

The 9600 se and 9600 xt are basically the same card feature wise but the XT is a fair bit faster. You won't notice the difference in N64 emulation but in PC games it will be a lot faster. If you don't play PC games the XT is overkill but if you do and it's in your budget go for it.

Don't get anything with SE after it unless you are soft-modding (don't think you can in this instance, fell free to correct.)

The 9600 XT is a faster version of the 9600 Pro, and is worth it if you can afford it. You'll notice the faster speed in your PC games rather than N64 emulation. You'll get good performance in present and future DX9 games with the XT and even the Pro.

XT > Pro > Non-Pro > SE

...I believe is the order they go in.

There seems little point to me buying a 9200, since it is a limited DX8.1 card. It's not future proof!!!
Especially since a GF4Ti will cost around the same (go ebay for one!), probably less and give you better performance in current (DX8.1) games.
The 9600XT, however seems to me to be a good buy.

Most recent video cards have S-Video for TV-out. =)
