Is that really true with the GeForce 6600?
I dunno about Nvidia, but with ATI, that was true with Radeon 9800 Pros, because later Radeon 9800 Pro video cards have a newer GPU revision, actually the same one that the Radeon 9800XT uses, R360. Radeon 9800 Pros originally used the R350 GPUs. The R350 GPUs don't have a temperature sensor. Only the R360 GPUs have a temperature sensor! Thus with the Radeon 9800 Pros, (if you know that already) if it's a late one, can flash the BIOS with a XT BIOS to get a GPU temperature reading!
Is the same type of thing true with GeForce 6600s?(the early ones don't have a temperature sensor?)
