unique problem, plz help!
i have two games, soulcalibur and doa2 le and i know that they have an echelon intro that causes chankast to crash. So, i followed the echelon tutorial and got an image.cdi, and i mounted that on daemontools 3.29. However, every time i load the games, this is what happens:
1. DOA 2 LE --->the sega logo appears, and then the tecmo logo appears. then the first two lines of japanese text show and i hear about 1 word in japanese and then this message appears:
"Chankast_alpha_25.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft about this problem."
in the message window it offers me the option to send an error report.
2. Soul Calibuer--->does exactly the same thing when i click on any of the game options on the main menu
WHY??????
As a side-note my original image files are DOA2LE-ECH.mdf, DOA2LE.mds, SOULC.mdf, and SOULC.mds.
I've done everything according to the tutorials on the forum so why is it not working for me?
