Unable to make a USB flash drive bootable

PsyMan

Just Another Wacko ;)
I recently bought a JetFlash 110 USB flash drive in order to be able to transfer files between my PC and others fast and "on the fly". I am very pleased with it but I am not able to make it bootable (even though my mobo supports booting from usb-zip and usb-hdd drives).

I tried the application that comes with the drive as well as some other methods without any luck. I though that my mobo may have problems booting from flash drives so I also tried it on 2 other mobos (with a phoenix and an award bios) that support booting from flash drives but it didn't boot on them either.

Is there a way to make the drive bootable? Are there any 3rd party applications or methods that let you do it?

Any suggestions/advices would be appreciated. :)

EDIT (25/2/05): I managed to make it work using HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool (it is for usb devices from HP but it somehow works for usb devices from other companies too). All the other applications I tried could not create correct MBR to the partition of the flash drive so it wasn't able to boot.
