What plugin are you using?

What are your system specs?

I used JaboD3D8 1.6 and it worked fine for me.

Glide worked for me too.

Make sure its a good rom too.

Athlon XP 700Mhz (it still works wondors), Radeon 9250, and I'm using Jabo's D3D8 1.6 and Jabo's sound... and Nrage Input plugin...

I think it is a bad rom...but hope it isn't ... can anyone help?

Maybe these answers might fix your problem.
1. Grab the newest Beta RDB.
2.Do you have *sync Game to Audio* on for your audio controller, TWINE will not play if you do.
3. Try different plugins.
Note- I am using all the default plugins to find these fixes (1 and 2) mind you.

.

I do not have it checked and it plays fine for me.

I used all the defaults plugins as well.

I tried the RDB...didn't change anything...and the "sync" is off...still doesn't work...I suspect it is a bad rom, and I downloaded those programs, but it blew my mind on how to work them...

Heres a quickie tutorial:

Unzip GoodN64 and GoodGUI ( I used C:\GoodN64 and C:\GoodGUI)

Start GoodGUI

Goto Main - > Config

Now in the Good*.exe box type in or browse to the directory of you GoodN64. In the GoodInfo.cfg box just copy your good*.exe directory and after it type \goodinfo.cfg. Then scroll down to the Nintendo 64 portion of the config screen and type in or browse for your rom directory. (Mine is C:\N64). Then click Save

Now in the Select System Box Choose Nintendo 64

Then select rename

Now click the Green Go button. Click ok on the little pop-up that comes up.

Once it finishes click View -> *Have List

Your Have list should pop up. If the game has [!] after it is a good rom

If it has [t1] [b1] [o1] [f1] or things like that then it isnt.

and thus ends my cheesy guide. Hope that helps on that end.

Athlon XP 700 mhz? Those I believe are at least 1.4 ghz. Unless underclocked.

I dunno.
