TWINE not working

This is very, very curious. A while ago I downloaded TWINE (The World Is Not Enough) and it played fine except for a lack of sound (which didn't bother me at all), until one day it simply stopped working. I tried to load it over and over and even left it for a while in case it took a while to load, but nothing showed up. There wasn't even a FPS rate!

Can anybody explain why this is happening and any way to fix it?

does no one even have an idea? I can see this forum is active, why is my thread ignored?

People won't answer if they can't give you advice, it's as simple as that. Just because a message board seems active doesn't mean that every single active member in here can answer every question right away. Who know, you might see some new member registering a few houres from now and posting a very thorough answer to your question.

I tried not to get involved with this, since I can't tell you anything for certain... But what the hell, ok.

Do other games work? have you recently update your graphics card drivers or anything of the sort?

I believe it has something to do with the sound plugin. Try switching it. If you are using the Jabo sound plugin, make sure "Sync game to audio" is unchecked.

EmuFan: thanks for the advice, I started the game and unchecked "Sync Game to Audio" and it worked!
