Trouble Saving

Every time I save a game on Ocarina of time and try to load it again its not there, someone please help!!!!

do you use the save in the game or the save blocks?
If you're saveing in the game, and try'ing to load with click load game.. then you're do'ing it wrong.. Just try to use the save in the game.. but how long in the game are you.... if you newly start the game and just got the sword.. you're will start at you're home!
