Trouble in getting images to work

I have downloaded both Chankast 0.2 and 0.25 and a handful of games (sonic 2, sega rally amung others) some ate bootable and some not. I load them with Deamon tools 3.29 ot Achohol 120% and start the emu, I have an English (with red logo) and a Spanish bios (blue logo). The only things I get with both bootable and non bootable games are with the English bios a screen to set up the date and then the menu, when I try to run the game manualy it resets, with the Spanish bios there is no date setup only the CD player (the disks are recognized as music cd) and when I try to run a game
manualy it says, please insert disk. I tried at least 5 games and it is allways the same. Note that when I insert a disk with alchohol or deamon the windows autoplay recognises it and I can view the files. Thanks in advance for your help....

Nope, I tried a couple more bios-images and put the bios to normal (not read only) and still nothing

about......

Have you changed the letter of the drive in the menu section "drive"?
The bootable cd's , run automatic, and not bootable (only few runs with this boot cd) need the boot disc.
If you letter is D: and the daemon or alcohol is E: or H: or whatever...change this!!!
If you are tried all of these options and doesn't run, you can buy the games :D

If the emulator keeps asking for the date and time then the bios is corrupted and the flash. Download fresh copies of the bios and flash files. i found the flash that comes with the emulator didnt work for me.
Also, never try to change the date or time on the emulator, i found this corrupts the bios and/or flash

try changing the plugin settings for the cd drive . cant remember wich one but if i remember correctly there were only two choices. try them both. also find the bios and right click it and on the general tab click read only or was it uncheck read only, been so long since i used chanka that i forgot. it actually convinced me to buy the real dreamcast.. or try this from the faq.

Q: Every time I try to run a game the bios keeps reseting itself, how do I fix this?
A: You have to use the Europian bios in order to fix this problem. The Europian bios shows a blue swirl when it boots but the US-Japanese show a red swirl.

I can use the US BIOS just fine without the reset issue. I think the European version is a little more stable with this emu (or so I've heard). But I've never had any problem running the US version.
