Hello, after upgrading to Windows XP, my Project64 1.6 transparencies are sometimes opaque. Everything looked perfect when I was running Windows 98, DirectX 7 or 8, and some old old nVidia drivers. Now I'm running XP SP2, DirectX 9.0c w/ December 2005 updates, nVidia ForceWare 71.98 (latest supported by my card), etc. I simply copied the PJ64 directory from my old install to my new one, so that was constant.
I've only tested Zelda OOT and this is most apparent in the Water Temple and when playing songs. Sometimes, transparencies fix when you change your viewpoint. I've attached some pics to demonstrate. Three in a series show how another object onscreen changes the transparencies.
Another problem: I must enable the "Use Direct3D transform pipeline" or half of the onscreen polygons are missing. Never had to do that in WIndows 98. Is there any way to make that setting perminant across sessions?
Thanks for your help.
