TLoZelda: MM: Crash while loading savegame!

hiho,

I wanted to play it again, so I deleted my ooold savegames and made a fresh start. Now I was at ~ the half of the game, had a shitload of masks and heart-thingys. I saved, as I always did, with F5, did something wrong, and wanted to load it with F7. But then PJ64 just crashed ... O_O wtf, is my savegame lost now? Can anyone check?

The savegame from the EU edition btw, I played it in German.

Never rely just on savestates. Use in-game saves. Most likely your savegame is lost and you learned your lesson the hard way.
