Raging Fuel

The jumbles man, the jumbles
During the last Australian census (I think it was last year) about 70,000 people put their religion as Jedi. There are about 19 million people in Australia, and there needs to be at least 10,000 people to make a religion 'official'.

Mr. Super Clever
I think we got enough from our census to make it official, but then again I doubt the census would publish the ammount of Jedi's. Plus the entire thing was a farce.

The monster raving looney party on the census

Millions if not Billions of pounds were spent gathering information for the census and some of the information gathered has been released recently. So what have we found from this major investment?

The most interesting thing is that despite threats of legal action for not completeing census forms and an army of collectors pestering people to return forms, the authorities seem to have about 1,000,000 people missing and therefore have had to 'ESTIMATE' a lot of the results.

Perhaps those 1,000,000 people have left these shores to find a country where the government doesn't waste so much time and money.

The study has also revealed that for the first time in Britain, there are more people over the age of 60 than under the age of 16. OK so if we have an excess of old people and a shortage of young people, why are all the schools full and the bingo halls empty?

They rule:D
